The City of Toronto has many events planned at municipal venues during the Family Day weekend.

Toronto’s historic sites will feature fun activities on Family Day, which falls on Monday, February 17, 2014 this year. Children who visit the City’s historic venues on Family Day can be an 1812 soldier, print a vintage newspaper and more.

The Scarborough Museum will host family-friendly activities such as a scavenger hunt, crafts and sampling baked goods with a side of hot chocolate. For more information visit the City of Toronto’s Arts and Culture website.

The Toronto Zoo will be holding a Valentine’s dinner on the evenings of February 14 and 15.  The weekend of February 15-17, they will host a Polar Bear Fest and will close the month with a fundraising run in support of polar bear conservation on Saturday, February 22.  For more information, visit torontozoo.ca.
