The Toronto Police Service and the Toronto Police Services Board in partnership with the Government of Ontario’s Ministry of Children and Youth Services is now accepting applications for the 2015 Youth in Policing Summer Program.
The summer program runs from June 29, 2015 to August 21, 2015 and pays $11/hr for 35 hours per week of work. Students will be based in various police locations throughout the City of Toronto. Applicants must reside in one of the city’s neighbourhood improvement areas (see http://www.torontopolice.on.ca/yipi/ to find out if you live in a neighbourhood improvement area).
Applicants must also be 15 to 18 years of age as of June 29, 2015, must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, must be legally eligible to work in Canada, must be returning to school in September 2015, must not have participated in any YIPI program and must be successful through the employment security clearance process.
